Pixaria Gallery version 1.4.1 is now available

Posted on Thursday, February 22, 2007

This is an important update that contains no new features but plenty of bug fixes. To see if any of your bugs have been squished, check out the version history and file change logs.

This is a free update to all users of Pixaria (no matter how long you've had the script). To get hold of your copy, send an e-mail to upgrade@pixaria.com and I will e-mail you the script as soon as I can.

Please note that the update is a 1.4 MB file and contains PHP and JavaScript files so if you've only got a small inbox or have anti-virus software that thinks everything is a virus (Hotmail), please give me an alternative e-mail address to use!

Spring cleaning and bug zapping

Posted on Monday, February 19, 2007

Since I released version 1.4 of Pixaria, I've been looking at a number of bug fixes in the script and I'm hoping that I'll be able to release version 1.4.1 to squash them this Thursday the 22nd of February.

Bugs on my hit-list for this release include problems with image importing into new galleries, item quantity display in the sales manager and other minor bugs that have come to light since 1.4 came out.

If there's a bug you've found in Pixaria which hasn't been addressed yet, drop me an e-mail at info@pixaria.com and I'll add it to my to do list for this week.

Pixaria Gallery version 1.4.0 is now available

Posted on Sunday, February 4, 2007

It's been quite a long wait but Pixaria Gallery version 1.4 is now (at last) available!

Version 1.4 features some significant improvements including the ability to support multiple payment methods for purchases and flat rates for shipping. This update also features a new dashboard homepage for the administration control panels and improvements in many areas of the back-end admin tools.

The search engine in Pixaria has seen some changes which are being made as part of a major overhaul to the way visitors browse images. It's now possible for users to specify the order images are displayed in when searching and the search forms are now supplied by a new bundled Pixie Plug-in.

As always, each new version squashes a few bugs too so make sure you check the version history to see what's fixed this time around.

This update is free to all current users of Pixaria.
