Pixaria Gallery has been updated to version 1.1.2 which brings a host of new bugfixes and improvements to the script.
Users of earlier versions will welcome exciting new features like customisable extra data fields in the image library, the option to enable price calculations for unregistered users and the ability to delete completed transactions from the sales manager.
Most importantly, there are a host of bug fixes and minor enhancements to the script all designed to make your workflow smoother including interface enhancements in the admin control panels and the option to show VAT information on sales pages.
Registered users can expect to get the update by e-mail within the next 24 hours.

Permalink del.icio.us Digg itUntil now, I have released updates ot Pixaria on a fairly regular basis but as of mid April this will change as updates become a little less frequent.
The main reason for this is that I'm moving to a new job and will have less time to develop Pixaria in my spare time but also because Pixaria is becoming more stable and feature complete which means I don't need to post updates so often.
As part of this review of development and to enable me to keep track of feature requests and more easily, I've created a new forum for posting ideas for improving Pixaria and everyone is encouraged to post their ideas on how to make this the best gallery script on the Internet!
Permalink del.icio.us Digg itPixaria Gallery 1.1 is now available and adds a host of new features including live image price calculations, improved keyword support, updated and enhanced admin tools, a new plugin interface and better support for Unicode text and non ASCII character sets.
The update is free to all current users of the script and has already been e-mailed out. If you've not recieved it yet, please let me know so I can make alternative arrangements to get the script to you.
The other important news with this release is that there have been many behind the scenes changes designed to make the script easier to add new features to in the future. The main one is the new plugin API which is not yet documented but will be fully accessible to anyone looking to add new features to the script. A new support and documentation website will be launched soon with more details.
Permalink del.icio.us Digg itI accidentally sent out an incorrect build of the new Pixaria 1.1 update to a handful of current users this morning and strongly advise those who recived it NOT to install the script until I can send out the correct version.
The file I sent doesn't include the correct database files so the upgrade will not work correctly. If you have begun installing the udpate already, please contact me for advice on how to proceed.
All current users of Pixaria Gallery will receive a fully updated version of the script by e-mail later today.
